Abyss
One of my good friends who I am very close to inspired this piece. This poem describes each attribute of the person I wrote this about. It also explains how I feel about this person and how much I care for them.
His glistening of his smile entrances me.
The depth of his eyes pull me in, they make
Me want to fall deeper in the abyss.
His vibe reminds me of the song Earthquake
When it all comes crashing down I’ll need you.
I need him through all his pain and his lies.
I can never let go from what I knew.
My long-lasting love for him never dies.
When he runs his fingers through his dark hair
I feel like I’m living in a fantasy.
His appearance keeps me stuck in a stare.
Although I’m trapped, I’ve never been more free.
I stare up to see the stars are aligned,
I never seem to get him off my mind
